CanSpeed supplies performance and replacement parts to drivers and trade workshops across Canada. This policy sets out what we hold about you and why.
What we collect
Order details: name, delivery address, email and phone. Card details are entered on the processor’s form and never reach our servers.
Vehicle details you give us so we can confirm fitment — make, model, year and engine code. We keep these against your account so repeat orders are quicker.
Browsing data: which parts you viewed and searched for, so we can keep the catalogue accurate.
Why we hold it
To pick, pack and ship the correct part, and to warn you if a part does not fit the vehicle on your account.
To handle warranty claims, which for a mechanical part can arise long after the sale.
To meet Canadian tax and consumer-protection retention requirements.
Who we share it with
Our courier, our payment processor, and where a claim requires it, the parts manufacturer. Nobody else. We do not sell your data.
Trade accounts
If you buy on a trade account we also hold your business name and tax registration, and we keep purchase history for the length of the account plus the statutory retention period.
Your choices
Ask us for a copy, a correction, or deletion. Deletion is honoured except where a warranty or tax record must survive.
Marketing email has an unsubscribe link in every message. Order and dispatch notices are not marketing and continue.
